Founded in 1994 Shield and Spear Fine African Products introduced a world of exotic African food and ingredients - all now available from our online store.
A wealth of experience and knowledge from past generations provided the mastering of these blended ingredients to ensure authenticity and quality.
We offer a large range of products including Akara flours, Couscous, African grains, African nuts, African semolina, hand blended Spices and Red Palm Oil, with new and interesting selective produce added regularly.
About Chef Bathie
Classically trained with many years experience as a qualified chef, Bathie has built his reputation both locally and internationally.
He is a well recongnised, talented and respected Chef as an integral part of the Sydney dining scene with his modern approach to European, Asian, African, and Creole cooking. With a decade arranging functions, private dinner parties, and cooking in some Sydney's finest Hotels, top Restaurants, and homes.
From the initial designing of the menus to the finished product, he perfects the experience of Fine dining.
